Thirst No. 1 By Christopher Pike

This Is The First Book In The Series

Alisa has been in control of her urges for five thousand years she has been a vampire. She feeds but does not kill, and she lives her life on the fringe to maintain her secret. But when her creator returns to hunt her, she must break her own rules in order to survive.

Her quest leads her to Ray. He is the only person who can help her; he also has every reason to fear her. Alisa must get closer to him to ensure her immortality. But as she begins to fall in love with Ray, suddenly there is more at stake than her own life..

(My Review): One of the first teen books I really got interested in and is a very good book. The character Alisa has found out that her old creater is coming after her and she has to go to great lengths to try and destroy him. I love this book and I recommend It to anyone who likes vampires (Like I do!)

Willow By Juila Hoban

If she let herself, she'd in a world of pain. Seven months ago on a rainy March night, Willow's parents drank too much at dinner and asked her to drive them home. But they never made It-Willow lose control of the car and both of her parents were killed. Now the only way she knows how to survive and control the pain is by secretly cutting herself. But when Willow meets Guy, a boy as sensitive and complicated as she is, she finds It hard to keep the secret that's written all over her body.

(My Review): Wow, well first I must say that this book is a really painful reality of what cutters do. Through personal expieriences I could relate to the book very much so. She meet this guy along the way who has been through just as much as she has and both of them are like really similar in a way, because of what they've been through, if you can understand what I mean. I haven't finished the book just yet but so far I love It. I hope you enjoy the book if you're interested in buying It.

Immortal By Gillian Shields

Wylddffe Abbey School for young ladies housed in a Gothic mansion on the bleak northern moors is elite, expensive, and unwelcoming. When Evie Johnson is torn away from her home by the sea to become the newest scholarship student, she is more isolated than she could have dreamed. Strict teachers, snobbish students, and the oppressive atmosphere of Wylddcliffe leave Evie drowning in loneliness.

Evie's only lifetime is Sebastian, a rebellious, mocking, dangerously attractive young man she meets by chance. As Evie's feelings for Sebastian grow with each secret meeting, she starts to fear that he is hiding something about his past. And she is haunted by glimpses of a strange, ghostly girl-a girl who is so eerily like Evie, she could be a sister. Evie is slowly drawn into a tangled web of his past and present that she cannot control.

And as the extraordinary, elemental forces of Wylddcliffe rise up like the mighty sea, Evie is faced with an astounding truth about Sebastian, and her own incredible fare.

(My Review): This story is a Gothic-like type of setup-which to me personally is a fantastic way to start off. At the beginning of the book It was sort of kind of depressing thing watching Evie not make friends and her enemies were trying to tear her down but the interesting part I like about this is (Small Spolier): that she goes out to meet Sebastian out at night and most of the times she never gets caught by anyone. And the girl Helen was so, different. I mean one minute she would be nice to talk to and then the next she was all "Leave Me Alone!" but I know now that she has a reason for being that way. I have about five more pages to go now before I'm done with the book, which probably means I should just go read the rest of It. Enjoy the book if you're interested in buying It.

Night Huntress By Jeaniene Frost

The First Book In The Series Night Huntress

Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of these deadbeats is her father-the one who is responsible for ruining her mother's life. Then she's captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unlikely partnership.

In exchange for help finding her father, Cat agrees to train with a sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. She's amazed she doesn't end up as his dinner-are there actually good vampires? Pretty soon Bones will have her convinced that being half dead doesn't have to be all bad. But before she can enjoy her status kick-ass demon killer, Cat and Bones are pursued by a group of killers. Now Cat will have to choose a side...and Bones is turning out be as tempting as any man with a heartbeat.

(My Review):I can't tell you how much this series is so fricking awesome! It's sexual, but at the same time It has silliness in It, intense action parts in It, just everything in between. Cat is so sarcastic and extremely funny and strong, the woman is just simply amazing (to me that is). This may not be for people who don't like sensual stuff. It's a bit graphic but other than that, absolutely amazing.

Hush, Hush By Becca Fitzpatrick

The First Book In The Series

Romance was not part of Nora Grey's plan. She's never been particulary attacted to the boys at her school, no matter how hard her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch comes along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Patch draws Nora to him against her better judgement.

But after a series of terrfying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is and seems to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide wheter she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

For she is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those who have fallen-and when It comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost Nora her life.

(My Review): I got this book a few months ago and I must say, It'a very interesting book. I was already drawn to It when I first saw the wings on the guy's back. At first I didn't really like Patch in the begining because I thought he knew too much about her but eventually I started to. The setting in where the story took place was a very unquie place as well. The character Nora was like a normal high school girl, who has friends and a car and has some interest in boy, you know, just like any other girl and I really like how she was determined to get answers from Patch. (SPOLIER ALERT!! STOP READING NOW IF YOU WANT TO FIND OUT THE ENDING BY READING HUSH HUSH!) I never would of thougth in a million years that Jules would be the one who caused some of trouble that happened in the book. It was a very good twist to an ending. It was really good and Cresendo is even better. I'll right a review for Cresendo soon.

Here's the video for hush hush.

Shadow Kiss By Richelle Mead

Shadow Kiss, the third book in the Series Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

Lissa Dragomir is a Moroi princess: a mortal vampire with the rare gift for harnessing the earth's magic. She must be protected at all times from Strigoi: the fiercest vampire- the ones who never die. The powerful blend of human and vampire blood that flows through Rose Hathaway , Lissa's best friend, makes her a Dhampir. Rose is dedicated to a dangerous life of protecting Lissa from the Strigoi, who are hell bent on making Lissa one of them.

Rose knows that It is forbidden to love another guardian. Her best friend, Lissa-the last Dragomir princess-must always come first. Unfortunately, when It comes to gorgeous Dimitri Belikov, some rules are made to be broken.

Then a strange darkness begins to grow in Rose's mind, and ghostly shadows warn of a tremble evil drawing near to the Academy's iron gates. The immortal undead are closing in, and they want vengeance for the lives Rose has stolen. In a heart-stopping battle to rival her worst nightmares, Rose will have to choose between life, love, and the two people who matter most..but will her choice mean that only one can survive?

(My Review): One of my favorite books of all time and I promise I'll try not to tell all of you that haven't read the book what happened. It was a very intense and emotional book. It's has It's really big highs and the very steep lows but I think that's what makes a really fantastic book right? Rose kept It together mostly through the whole thing and I think that's true strength. When you keep It together when others would understand if you fall shows some incredible power, and I think that's just one of those things I guess. Getting back to the book, Rose had this sort of darkness she had to face and It almost consumed her but she fought through It and Lissa in the third book is still learning how to use one of the rarest elements. Like I said in the beginning, It is a very roller coaster like adventure and a very good one at that. Hope you enjoy if you are interested in buying the book (but buy the first two first, then It'll make more sense).

Here's some of my favorite quotes from Shadow Kiss:

-"You will lose what you value most, so treasure it while you can."

-"What's up?" I asked.

You tell me," he (Christian) said. "You were the one about ready to start making out with Adrian."

It was an experiment," I said. "It was part of my therapy."

What the hell kind of therapy are you in?"

-"Wait. You think I'm going to die? That's why you slept with me?"

-"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you just defended Christian's honor. Isn't he a pain in the ass?
"Yes he is. But for the next 6 weeks he's MY pain in the ass."

Succubus Blues By Richelle Mead

Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead (I love her!)

When it comes to jobs in hell, being a succubus seems pretty glamorous. A girl be anything she wants, the wardrobe is killer, and mortal men will do anything just for a touch. Granted, they often pay with their souls, but why get technical?

But Seattle succubus Georgina Kincaid's life is far less exotic. Her boss is a middle-management demon with a thing for John Cusack movies. Her immortal best friends haven't stopped teasing her about the time she shape shifted into the Demon Goddess getup complete with the whips and wings. And she can't have a decent date without sucking away part of the guy's life. At least there's her day job at a local bookstore-free books; all the white chocolate mochas she can't drink; and easy access to bestselling, sexy writer, Seth Mortensen, aka He Whom She Would Anything To Touch but Can't.

But dreaming about Seth will have to wait. Something wicked is at work in Seattle's demon underground. And for once, all of her hot charms and drop-dead- one-liners won't help because Georgina's about to discover there are some creatures out there that both heaven and hell want to deny...

(My Review): Well I think It's a very interesting book. I'm still reading It but I've finished most of It. The character Georgina Kincaid is a very interesting. I mean her night job is so different from the rest of her life and to me I think that that's a really cool element to have. And Seth is differently different than what he writes in those books, I hadn't seen that coming-and he's really hot. Just thought I'd mention that. :) Another one of my favorite books from Richelle Mead. Fair warning: It is a bit sexually graphic from what I read so far so this may not be for those who don't like sensual stuff. I've finished the book and It's fantastic! I can't wait to get the next one out right now! It has so many twists and turns, like some things that you never expected to happen did. An escpecially at the end, It was just a great ending to the story! If you get this book, you'll love It.
